The couples who are living in the Maharashtra state and had just got married under the inter-caste marriage rules and regulations are able to get the financial assistance benefits. The Maharashtra state government announced to provide the Rs. 50000 (fifty thousand rupees) to those couples who just had got married with the rules and regulations of intercaste marriage. The amount has provided to the citizens for the encouragement of inter caste marriage.

The government of Maharashtra decided to remove discrimination from society and trying to provide the equal right through giving the economical assistance for the encouragement of these couples. In the starting this amount was Rs. 15000 (fifteen thousand rupees) which now been increased by the state government. According to the officials this amount will be given in two parts in which first part will be given to applicants for Rs. 20000 (twenty thousand rupees) and it will be provided through the cheque payment which the candidates will have to deposit on their bank account and after that they can withdrawal as cash for their personal uses. In the second part the government had decided to give Rs. 25000 (twenty five thousand rupees) which will work as the investment for the inter-caste married couples. This amount will be deposited in the Indira Vikas Patra as the postal saving scheme. Now this is the total of Rs. 45000 (forty five thousand rupees) rest of Rs. 5000 (five thousand rupees) will be given to the couples for their personal uses such as for the household items and other marriage related expenses. This financial assistance is applicable only for the Maharashtra state. Each state has their own scheme to provide the benefits of inter caste marriage.
